John Gluckow Submariner's Coat: First issued by the US Navy in the 1930's and later replaced by the iconic N1, these jackets were made in very limited quantities. This production of this jacket was very minimal due to being pretty much issued exclusively for Submarine Personnel. Originally a double cloth herringbone was sourced for construction of these jackets purely because it was easily available before WWII. John Gluckow has reproduced this coat to a very high spec. The unique characteristics of the indigo corduroy will become more apparent as the coat has years of wear to it. It also features a fully alpaca lined inner. Made in Japan.
