The Submariner Coat, adopted for the submarine crews, was already posted before its adoption in the Uniform Regulations issued by the U.S. Navy Department in 1941. Using fine Wool , this coat was mainly woven with clogged Herringbone so it was excellent in cold weather. The Stand collar, a relatively large Chinstrap and the very sophisticated exterior with only two flapped patch pockets characterise the coat . This simple style is common in Pea Coats or Deck Jackets, all of which show the commitment and pride of the U.S. Navy and are coats of the good old days.
