How The Bear Revolutionised the ‘Plain White Tee’

Boasting some of the most intricate details in the collection, the 1934 ‘Cowboy’ 131 jean has been faithfully reproduce by Lee, with brilliant results. This jean is cut from a 12.5 ounce fabric, and boasts a wide leg, and a high rise for comfort when in the saddle. Large bell shaped pockets have been added to the back, along with a cinch back to adjust the shape of the waist, and a stunning set of ‘Lee Unionalls’ donut buttons on the waistband, for suspenders to be easily attached.
Domed copper rivets can be found throughout, including the iconic ‘cowboy’ crotch rivet of the 30’s, which was removed after complaints that it scratched up the leather saddles of the working men. Flat felled seams add durability on this model, while a ‘hair on hide’ patch has been included on the left back leg. On this 'heavy wash' model, the brand have included authentic detailing, including incredible fades, shrunken leather, and the stitch lines where a garment patch would have once sat.
