A firm favourite here at SOAS, Spellbound has been producing simple, elegant clothing since its inception in 1981. "Manufactured with the highest standards and craftsmanship," Spellbound is part of the Domingo company, the third oldest denim manufacturer in Japan. With production focused on quality, manufacturing takes place in Kojima, the heart of Okayama prefecture. Known for their authentic washes and expert construction, such as with the classic 5P jean, we have also come to love their shirting. By giving each garment individual attention, Spellbound ensures they endure the test of time. Utilizing Howa corp, one of the most distinguished laundries in Japan, Spellbound's washes are perhaps the most authentic we've ever seen. Influenced by work wear, military and the outdoors, simplicity in appearance is offset by the intricacies of construction, which leave you Spellbound.
