5 WAYS TO STYLE THE MICHAEL SHOE
THE MOST VERSATILE SHOE IN THE WORLD?
Only 1 piece in stock!
As a part of their very special collection with novelist William Gibson, Buzz Rickson’s have released a beautifully crafted, pre-WWII style pea coat in jet black. Based on an archival piece from the early 20th Century, this coat is cut from a heavyweight 36 oz. melton wool which has been expertly created on vintage machinery, and has been lined with a luxuriously soft rayon satin blend.
Boasting a rigid, high-collar this piece has been specially designed to protect your neck from the arctic winds. A throat tab has also been featured which can be easily buttoned to hold the collar in place, and 10 military spec urea buttons adorn the front, custom designed with the early style ‘13 Star and Anchor’ motif. The 13 stars are there to represent the first 13 states of America after their independence from the British.
The two side entry pocket mouths have been finished with a beautiful rose hide leather, to ensure durability and comfort. Two inside makers labels can be found, the first is a carefully reproduced ‘Naval Factory Clothing’ tag which has been woven on rayon using vintage shuttle looms, the second is a special edition tribute to the man that inspired the coat, Mr William Gibson.
