Here’s one for the denim heads among you! Studio D’Artisan are never ones to shy away from a challenge, and for the D1674, they’ve broken the mould! This unique jean has been innovatively split into two halves, with the left leg displaying traditional detail of the Lee 101 jean, and the right boasting features of the Levi’s 501.
Foe the Lee side of the jean, we find a raw denim with a more course grain, which has characteristics of great fades over time. The pocket takes the shape of the iconic 101 shape, with bar tacks at the stress points instead of hidden rivets. Studio D’Artisan have even included this leg’s own leather patch, and Lee inspired pocket top rayon label.
For the Levi’s leg, we find a much smoother denim, which has been chosen give an all over fade for which the brand are known. A traditional mid-century 501 pocket shape has been added to this leg, with an alternate leather patch.
